This collection of poems was written over a period of years, in different trips throughout Latin America. Here I wrote first in Spanish, and then translated into English, to give the work a strange sense of being written by a northern immigrant wanting to acculturate himself to something fresh and vital.
Ce recueil de poèmes a été écrit sur plusieurs années, au cours de différents voyages en Amérique latine. J’ai d’abord écrit en espagnol, puis traduit en anglais, pour donner à l’œuvre l’étrange impression d’avoir été écrite par un immigrant du Nord désireux de s’imprégner de quelque chose de nouveau et de vital.
